So it doesn't take a genius to work out that I spend much of my free time shopping around SL and checking out the Fashion Planet Feed. Between the feed, some good friends and my knack for heading to random Sims and seeing what's around, I do manage to get some awesome buys. Granted, they aren't always cheap; the following three items ranging from 50L up to 600L and true, I end up with a lot of crap too but when I do get a good find, the crap ones seem to get forgotten.

I'd been looking for a decent pair of Chucks on SL for a while now and though I'd seen some alright knock offs, nothing has been able to compare to the ones they are selling at Akeyo. Priced at the aforementioned 600L you may be reluctant to make this purchase but I promise you - this is one big spend you will not regret.
With a nifty little hud, you're able to change the size and color of your Chucks at the click of a button. Want to have Black Chucks with red laces? Done. Want to have one Yellow Chuck and one White? done. Heck - feel like dressing like a clown and want chucks so big that you look like a circus freak -- done.
The Chucks have free updates that come out to fix any bugs and the latest even came with some more options.

The FNKY/Cake store has always been a bit of a favorite of mine, well - at least the FNKY side of things, especially when it comes to accessories. Granted, I tend to spend more time drooling than I do actually buying because even I have trouble justifying the 300L+ price tags on a pair of SL sunglasses. That was... until a couple of days ago. These Funky: Juicy sunnies in the burgundy even come with a scripted lens color change.
Pricey - maybe but here's how I look at it. You're better off sending more money on one pair of sunnies (or um.... many more if you're me) that you like, than wasting a bunch of L's on a heap of crappy ones that you'll probably never wear. For the guys - FNKY have some really not looking skins. Happened to see one guy trying it on and was pretty impressed. Personally, I still prefer Abyss but it owns the male collection at MM.

Can anyone say BARGAIN! So any self respecting Tim Burton fan needs no introduction to Jack Skellington. Thanks to my friend Ursul, I was introduced to the Paper Street Soap Company (Yes- think Fight Club here). This place is a little haven for pop culturey goodness. Dude - you can buy a Moobies & A Quickstop! (Clerks - if you need to ask me what that is - I pity you!)
There's some reasonably priced stuff here and a very very keen trench coat that I now have in my stack of jackets and so on. At the low low low price of 50L, lil Jack doesn't do much more than flame on and off his pumpkin but dude... he looks damn cool!
